Does anyone remember how Star Wars ends?

This was, and I did paraphrase a bit, part of a survey over at Cognitive Daily about stories. While the break-down by age is interesting, I found the selection of endings to be far more entertaining.

Here are a few of my favorites:

  • death star#2 goes boom, darth vader goes boom too, and everyone is all happy
  • Han Solo blows up the Deathstar (Okay maybe it was Luke but Han is better).
  • Disappointingly.
  • Luke and Leia are brother and sister. Gross!
  • When George Lucas decides he has earned enough money
  • The good guys win, luke i am your father blah blah blah
  • vader is luke’s father! zomg!
  • Luke blows up the death star and R2 gets waxed.
  • Some big space thing gets blown up.
  • lucas sells his soul by making 3 terrible prequels
  • Amateur fighter pilot ignores orders, listens to the voices in his head and slaughters thousands
  • Everybody lives happily ever after except the ones who die
  • It does not end!

And, full disclosure, I couldn’t stand to watch any one of Episodes 1-3 all the way through. And, now, because of that, I can’t really watch any of them all the way through. BSG, where are you?
